Refund Policy

1. Free trial

New accounts include a 7-day trial that requires no payment method. If you do nothing, the trial simply ends and access pauses until you subscribe — you are never charged for the trial.

2. Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or yearly). You can cancel at any time from inside the app. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused part of a billing period except as described below or where required by law.

3. Payments and the seller of record

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller on your payment record and handles billing on our behalf, so refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

4. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of a charge. This applies to your first charge on a new subscription. Refunds are returned to your original payment method, usually within a few business days once approved.

5. Statutory rights (EU/EEA/UK and elsewhere)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By starting to use a paid digital subscription during this period, you acknowledge that the service begins immediately; where you have used the Service, any refund may be reduced in proportion to the use already made, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@pawnpilot.io from your account email address, including your Paddle receipt or order ID. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

7. Exceptions

Refunds may be declined for requests made after the applicable window, for repeated refund requests on the same account, or where we reasonably determine the Service has been misused or the request is fraudulent.
